"If They Could Speak Today, This is What They Would Say"

I think that President Washington would say, that we have come a long way. He would also say, he is very surprised that the economy has advanced with new technology, such as computers, the Internet and space travel.

I think that President Jefferson would say, that we have done many things to improve our country. We have better roads, better education and a better government than we had years ago.

I think that President Roosevelt would say, that our country has made a good name for ourselves. We are a country known for success, equality, and basic rights for everyone. He would be proud of what the United States has become.

I think that President Lincoln would say, that he is amazed that we have finally learned that everyone should be free. He would also say, that he would hope to see a woman or an African American become President someday.

As these four presidents look down on us from Mt. Rushmore, they would be proud to say that back in the old days, they led this country to a better tomorrow...And that tomorrow, is today.
